We have been working with the Aberdeenshire Council and Taylor Wimpey to get agreements in place to improve the path from Forsyth Drive to the Academy.
It can be very muddy and slippy in winter so this should be a big improvement.
The Roads Department will attend the site this week to trim back the trees/bushes at the Forsyth Drive entrance to allow for access for building the new path.
The works may run into three weeks and the site will be fenced off with Heras fencing for the Academy going back w/c 28th Oct.
The Academy knows about it so pupils will need to find another route for a while.
Patience please, as it’s taken a couple of years of effort to get this going.
It will be worth it in the end.
